About Ascenz Marorka

Our story

Ascenz Marorka was created through the merger of two pioneering companies driving the digital transformation of the maritime industry. Ascenz, a Singaporean company with expertise in Electronic Fuel and Bunkering Monitoring, and Marorka, an Icelandic leader in vessel performance management, data acquisition, and modelling, joined forces under the GTT Group after being acquired in 2017 and 2020.

In 2024, GTT Group further enhanced Ascenz Marorka by acquiring Vessel Performance Solutions. VPS is a leading provider of specialised vessel performance management tools, enabling operators to turn performance data into actionable insights that improve fleet efficiency.

Today, we operate as GTT Group’s Smart Shipping arm. It delivers advanced digital solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and environmental performance for the maritime industry globally.
