Vessel Performance Solutions to service two leading bulk carrier fleets with VESPER performance management platform

Copenhagen, 14 January 2025 – Vessel Performance Solutions (VPS), a subsidiary of Ascenz Marorka, GTT Group’s smart shipping arm, is proud to announce two new partnerships with Himalaya Shipping Ltd. and 2020 Bulkers Management AS. These agreements will see the deployment of the VESPER performance management platform across their fleets, encompassing six Newcastlemax bulk carriers operated by 2020 Bulkers Management AS and twelve by Himalaya Shipping Ltd.

VESPER, Vessel Performance Solutions’ advanced performance management platform, provides comprehensive monitoring through automated data processing and reporting. By collecting and analyzing sensor data, the platform generates detailed performance and compliance reports that support environmental and emission standards.

This deployment will enhance operational efficiency, energy management, and emissions control across both fleets. The platform’s advanced automation reduces administrative burdens, allowing both shore-based teams and seafarers to focus on safe and reliable operations. Additionally, VESPER turns raw performance data into actionable insights, enabling real-time decision-making for fleet optimization.
